To be completely honest, Old Navy hasn’t always been at the top of my list as a go-to destination for plus size clothing. I pretty much gave up on shopping there when they removed plus sizes from stores years ago and with only a few exceptions haven’t shopped there since.

The one exception has always been their yoga pants, which I have always found to be extremely high quality. I had several pairs that get worn weekly that lasted for nearly five years before they started to fade too much for my liking.
Recently, I’ve been trying to expand my horizons a bit and give some of my old favorite stores a try again. Like many of us living the work, play and everything else at home 2020 life, I’m currently on the hunt for clothes that are comfortable above all else, but also stylish and functional.
When browsing at Old Navy, I was blown away by the collection of adorable plus size sweaters and plus size sweatshirts they had. Of course, I had to grab a few pairs of my go-to yoga pants too.
Below, you can check out all of the plus size clothing I’ve personally purchased recently from Old Navy. Bonus, they’re currently having some great sales, so it’s the perfect time to stock up.
In addition to the items below, it’s also a great time to stock up on essential layering pieces like tanks and tees. I grabbed several of each in different neutrals, colors, and patterns!

For size reference, I am almost always a size 26/28 at the most popular plus size retailers like Lane Bryant and Eloquii. I ordered 4X in all of the sweaters and sweatshirts pictured below. They were all oversized on me. If you’re between sizes or if you like a more fitted look, you might consider sizing down. I like the oversized fit because I plan to wear a lot of leggings in the near future.
I sized up to a size 30 in jeans because I remembered needing to size up in years past at Old Navy; however, I’ve recently been told that’s no longer the case with their fit. I have not yet received the shipment of the jeans, so I can’t yet confirm, but I will update the post upon their arrival.
