As a lifelong animal print aficionado, I couldn’t be more excited that this trend is back and better than ever! I counted and I already have 10+ leopard print pieces in my wardrobe that I’ve accumulated over the years and, honestly, I would be wearing them still even if they weren’t “in”. My absolute favorite is when a print or pattern I consider to be a classic or wardrobe staple gets REALLY popular again. It’s the perfect time to stock up.

The Best Plus Size Animal Print Pants & Skirts for Fall
I’ll be honest, I personally shy away from bold prints in pants. I tend to go for an allover pattern in dresses or lean toward tops otherwise. These animal print jeans and slacks are definitely a bit out of my own comfort zone, but I’m excited to give the look a try. I also am DYING to get the maxi skirt. I can see that being year-round wardrobe staple with tees and sneakers, turtle necks or sweaters and even tank tops in the summer.

Accessories are by far the easiest way to dip your toe in the water with a new trend. I actually have these leopard flats on order currently & will let you know what I think once I get them.
I have realized in putting together this blog post that my animal print accessories are definitely lacking. I think I’m going to pick up the snake print belt and the leopard hair ties too.

How to Wear Animal Print If You Prefer Understated Looks
If you’re not 100% sure about this trend but want to give it a try, I highly recommend starting with something simple like a shoe, bag or another accessory. The great thing about these animal prints is that they act essentially as a neutral. You can throw on a cute leopard or snakeskin flat with almost any classic/simple outfit and look great. Wear a classic blazer and slacks with a pop of animal print in your accessories for a high fashion workwear look. You can also elevate simple jeans and sweater (or tee shirt if it’s still hot where you live) by pairing a cute hair tie, bag or pair of shoes.
