The Coziest Gift Guide You’ve Ever Seen

Y’all, the holiday season is the best!  There are parties, family time, and pretty much all of my favorite things.  After December 25th, though, I’m usually done with winter and just want to cozy up at home with Kevin and my dog as much as possible.

I know I’m not alone in this sentiment, so I think the perfect holiday gift is one that brings comfort for the remaining winter months.  If you’re like me and enjoy a cozy night in, you might want to consider these gift ideas as “treat yourself” ideas instead.

If you’re shopping for your favorite homebody, he or she will thank you for any of these gifts under the tree this year!

Cheers to cozy comfort and relaxation!

Today’s post is the next in the Blogmas series, and it’s been extra fun to prepare for you!  I have a few special gift guides coming your way as part of the series, but I thought it would be fun to start with a roundup of the exact items I PERSONALLY would love to receive this year for Christmas.  I don’t currently own any of the items on this list but they’re all things I’ve been considering purchasing or hinting about to my family.

Real talk, this is a LONG list.  I have absolutely zero expectation of receiving all or even most of these items.  I’ll narrow this down to a few of the things I want the  most and share it with the people who’ll be shopping for me.  Hi, Mom! Hi, Kevin!

Everything You Need To Host Your First Thanksgiving

You know what is completely overwhelming?  Hosting a major holiday for the first time.  Kevin and I are traveling to New York to spend Thanksgiving with his family this year, but I’m planning on hosting a Thanksgiving meal for some of my family in Kentucky on another day.

We are so excited to finally have space for entertaining, but given that we haven’t been able to in the past… we are definitely lacking in some of the basics we need for hosting.

If you’re like us and plan to host a holiday meal for the first time this year, check out my tips and tricks below. I’ve done all the overanalyzing so that you don’t have to!  Haha.

I’ve got an Amazon problem, y’all!  I LOVE it.  I have to say, I’ve gotten way better about my little habit, but July was definitely a little Amazon shopping heavy.

When we were in our apartment in NY, a neighbor once questioned me about what in the world we were buying to have packages arrive every day.  Oops!  I’m not proud of it, but it is what it is I guess.  There was no Target nearby so what was a girl to do?

I had planned on sharing a different post today but am switching things up a bit!  I recently tried Blue Apron for the first time, and as part of my subscription I had three free boxes I could share with friends.  I decided to offer them up to my Instagram friends (follow me here if you don’t already!)

I had probably 30 of you DM me within the first 5-10 minutes of posting the IG story asking for the free box.  First of all, you ladies really ARE my tribe…. y’all love free stuff as much as I do and I love it!  Second, I was bummed I couldn’t share more with you because everyone was so excited to try it.

Top 10 Wreaths for Spring on Amazon

After what seemed like 17 months of winter, we’re FINALLY seeing some gorgeous spring temperatures in Kentucky!  We’ll be in the 70’s next week, and I am excited to have my adorable spring wreath on the door!

An awesome wreath and door mat are key to creating a welcoming first impression for your guests.  Mine was a gift from my mom – AKA she had it on her door, I loved it and she gave it to me.  Her generous gift inspired me to share my top 10 favorite wreaths with you below.  The best part is that they’re ALL from Amazon, so you don’t even need to leave home to get your favorite!
